Exclamation New Sump, Coral closed and is possibly dead

I recently made a new sump for my 40 gal aquarium, I had used silicone 1 100% silicone with no biocide in it. And I used Lexan to create the sump within a 10 gal aquarium. about a day and a half later, my corals closed up and have not opened and now they are all shriveled and I think they are dead. Does anyone know if the lexan I used is toxic? I also used a dechlorinator for the first time in about 5 gal of tap water and it was sitting for 3 days with an airstone. I usually wait 7 days with no dechlorinator and everything was fine.

I would undo all recent changes that you can, ASAP.

I would also start mixing saltwater now, for some upcoming water changes in the very near future.

And last, some chemical filtration to remove undesirables. PURA filter pads or Polyfilter pads.

    PURA Filtration Pad

    And hurry!

Filter with lots of carbon, continue doing water changes. I think your corals will recover. They're probably reacting to something the silicon released, though it should have fully cured in 24 hours. Increasing flow might help, if it's a possible oxygenation issue. Is your skimmer acting any differently? If it stopped skimming, after a major change, that's pretty normal. If it's skimming a lot more, or there's a different color to the skimmate, that could be a sign of some type of chemical being introduced.

    im an idiot,
After thinking at work today it hit me. I purchased two brass fittings for my sump at home depot due to the fact that they were readily available and cheap. ive been leaching copper in the tank this whole time.

30 lbs of life rock, 40 gal tank with 10 gal sump. 3 chromis, 1 clown, 1 checkerboard wrasse, pistol shrimp (dead), watchman goby, pepermint shirmp (dead), snail (dead), chocolate star polyps (dead).

That's definitely a probable cause. Get those brass fittings replaced with plastic. Also, filter your water through Cupramine, Cuprisorb, or any number of other copper removers.
