Oceanic Bio Cube Protein Skimmer Help

Yes i know it sucks and hardly does anything. I am not asking for a recommendation for another skimmer, yet has anyone had success with this? I have had trouble getting mine to work.

I have a bio cube 14 and I got the oceanic protein skimmer and it works wonderfully for me. Just had to set the air to the right amount. What is not working?

Well, originally I could not get enough air (bubbles) and the foam would not reach the top of the reaction chamber. After speaking with customer service they told be to unscrew the 2 part one way air valve and open the flap. that did the trick. Now the bubbles reach the top (almost to the collection cup) and then pop. I have not had any skimmate produced yet. And my tank is 3 months old so im pretty sure it has some harmful organics. :/
