Hey everyone,

I'm gonna be setting up a FO tank with no live rock. 55 gallon, with a twenty gallon sump made out of two ten gallon tanks joined together by a 2 inch pipe. My question is, should the skimmer come before or after the bio bale. I know that stuff can become nitrate factory, thus, to reduce the risks, I thought that putting the skimmer before would reduce the ammount of detritus getting trapped by this bio bale.

Also, I'm on the verge of buying my overflow box from eshopps, should I get a 800 gph or a 900 gph one.
