    biocube 14 light replacement questions

Hey guys i currently have a biocube 14 with two ocerallis clowns that just paired up and im very happy about it because i had another clown in first for a month then i got "her" a mate but just bullied my smaller black and white ocerallis for weeks but i left them thinking they would sort it out and pair up but i noticed some torn fins and the small one and wouldnt come out from the rocks. I even tried putting the bigger one in time out in a floating container for a day or two hoping it would calm down but no it didnt at all even with rescaping, so i decided to trade the bigger bully and got another ocerallis about the same size insantly the b&w swam right to it and started shaking and they been swimming together hosting the same spot together and sleeping together all in just less than a day im so happy (one black and white and the other orange and white with a bit black on top) very cool and finally but def not least yellow clown goby. I have everything stock. I took out the 10,000k white bulb and replaced it for a 50/50 half actinic half white same wattage tho which is 24. I wanted a more blueish color and i was told that it should be fine with soft corals which i plan to start adding next week. Here are my questions
    1) Would the corals be ok with the lighting?
    2) I wanted a hammer because they look awesome and also hopefully my clowns will host it would that be fine and im sure it would go near the top
3)I have like 19 lbs of live rock so i dnt have much room i want only a few softies with the exception of the hammer or frogspawn so i wanted to get more recommendations on what hardy soft corals would be good with my lighting?

This was my response to a similar question in another post. The thread is called "beginner coral suggestions." it got some really great responses from some if the wisest guys around here (not including myself in the list lol). Anyways in addition to my response, I'd check out theirs:

Xenia I hear are hit or miss but mine have been looking great under T5s about midway up in the tank.

Mushrooms are very hardy too and there's all different colors. Ricordea mushrooms are a little less hardy but much cooler looking IMO.

Also Kenya trees, and any soft branching coral are good bets.

I just got my first brain coral so I can't speak from experience really, but from my research it seems like brains are the hardiest of the LPS corals and mine looks pretty damn cool.

    Hope this helped!

Re: biocube 14 light replacement questions

Thanks for the post but i knew i would be able to keep softies which personally i think they are better and nicer looking than the haard corals but im worried if they would be fine under my current lighting which is 24watts true actinic bulb and 24 watts 50/50?
Also would a toadstool outgrow my 14 biocube?
