I wouldn't use it. If your going to get one, get a TDS thats inline with your RO supply. It test the water. And yes its a good thing to have when you run RO water, it basically lets you know when your water isn't clean anymore and you need to change membrane and filters.

    Thanks

the RO system that we have here is for personal use (at home or office etc) it is not special for seawater use. It will generate distilled water for sure, and it could be use to set up a seawater, umm usually the price is 130$, really cheap comparing with the one used for Marine system. If there is any idea how to connecte it inline with aquarium system it will be fine! Am I wrong? Or it should NOT connect with the aquarium system at all?

    Thanks for your advice

The only difference between the home RO and aquarium is usually only the DI canister. Just buy that and your all set, you can still use it for drinking water.

You don't have to. Its just the way that I would do it. To me its easier to check it at a glance than to have to use the one you want to. Its just a preference. The one you looking at works just fine.
