How Would You Set Up My 140?

So. Basically My crazy neighbor sold me her 140 gallon truvu tank and stand for 30 bucks!
The problem is I know I want to do a refug. I was looking a the Aqueon Proflex.
Do I need a filter if i do that if so a Fluval 305?
    Do I need a Skimmer?
Does a sump connect to an overflow? (also i noticed there was 3 holes that were once drilled and now they are patched)
    LED or T5?
** this will eventually be a reef tank so please keep that in mind**
what all do I need for this tank to thrive?

Also, This will be infront of a window. It Only gets about an hour of direct sunlight a day and it will have the black backdrop blocking it.
So what type of chiller ONLY IF YOU SUGGEST I HAVE TO HAVE ONE!! I live in orange county california and its 100-110 in the summer. I would prefer CPU fans on the surface but thats is why I am asking you guys. Thanks

    Ok

Do I need a filter if i do that if so a Fluval 305?
No need for a filter. 210lbs Live Rock. As per 1.5lbs per gallon

    Do I need a Skimmer?
    Yup

Does a sump connect to an overflow? (also i noticed there was 3 holes that were once drilled and now they are patched)
Sump needs an overflow, or holes drilled into the tank

    LED or T5?
If you have the money, LED.

** this will eventually be a reef tank so please keep that in mind**
Got ya. Definately going to need all that Live Rock then. Live Sand to fill 2" of tank bottom.
what all do I need for this tank to thrive?
    Refractometer
Master Reef water test kit for: Magnesium, ALK, CA, Trates, Trites, Ammonia, Phosphates.
Powerheads- (reef=20x turnover) 2800gph total. Not including your return line from your sump.

Xtreme 160 Protein Skimmer In sump skimmer
No need for a chiller. You can use cpu fans in the canopy blowing across the water surface to keep your water cool. I use Metal Halide lights and have 4 fans blowing across my water, temp stays put at 79-80.

    Model 600 for your tank

All very good skimmers. Your choice, unless your going with the Hang On Back. Then i'd go with the Reef Octopus.
