    yeah i have that in mind....the sump side will be 33cm wide....so the baffles should be 32cm wide....cause the thickness of the glass is going to be 5 mm thick....i guess im right in my calculations yeah!?

    Keep in mind that the glass/ plastic can expand/ retract with heat. I've heard stories of broken sumps due to too tight fitting baffles. Haven't seen it personally but I could imagine that happening.

    so...i managed to do my first DIY tank.....silicone was left to cure for more than 48 hours and after the tank was filled to the rim (100 litres used) and left for 24 hours to make sure there are no leaks!....passed from the test!!

    now attached you find a picture with lines and dimensions, and i wish some opinions in regards to the dimensions and the postion of the baffles before i will silicone them!
