Is my salt-mixing RO/DI water method good?

I recently obtained a RO/DI system and I was wondering if my way of mixing it with salt before water changes is good.
Steps:
1. Filter 4 gallons of water with RO/DI system into four, 5 gallon bins(with caps). to make a total of 16 gallons
2. Immediately after each bin is 80% full, add 2 cups of IO Reef Crystals salt into the bin and SHAKE the bin for about 20-30 seconds. (I pick up the bin in my arms and shake my whole body for the salt to mix
3. Let it sit for 24 hours.
4. Shake the 5 gallon bin a couple times before water change
5. Do the water change
6. Shake bin right before putting newly mixed SW in the tank
7. Put the newly mixed SW in the tank ;)

Am I doing something wrong here?

After you shake them up and let em sit, remove the caps to let the gas release from water.
