2400 gph wave pump I think?

With my 72 bow front deal I got 2x850 Hydors and a 2400 gph Hydor. I assume the 2400 is best suited as a pulse/surge pump. I was planning on putting it directed behind the reef rock to help eliminate dead spots and pulsing it. Is this the correct use of this or what do I want to do with it?

This thing looks like a submersible box about 2x4 inches with a caged propeller on the buisness end. I can not see any way to mount this on a side wall. No suction cups, no magnets, nothing. Just a box and propeller!

You should be able to replace the Magnetic Mounts that are missing, because when you turn that thing on, its going to run all over the place. Also, yes, you are correct in being able to use it for pulsing, as it is a 12vdc I believe, powerhead. The AC powerheads don't work that way.
