Not a Hydor but a Tunze 6060 stream pump?

Wow I finally found a pic of the Tunze 6060 stream pump I have. At first I thought it was a wave pump but after some reading it is a low pressure steady stream pump. My plan of this 72 is to have the 2 Hydor wave pumps moving water from above and across the reef. I now think the Tunze stream pump should be placed lower and move a steady stream of water across the back of the reef and tank. Does this make since and how low is low?

You don't want it placed so that its blowing substrate all over the place. Question though, how would you get it low enough, using its goofy side tank hook?

The side tank hook is missing. I have not been able to find a replacement online for it. My thought was to elevate it on a rock in the corner of the back of the tank and overflow box. I put it in the sink and ran. It really is low pressure. Moved an inch and just set there stirring up the sink. I also found a bad impeller on one of the Hydo K 3s. I ordered two today. Figure I would replace them both since I dont konw how old they are.
