Micro bubbles! Yuk?

All is good but the skimmer return is creating micro bubbles that is being pumped up to the DT. I found a foam block That I think I can insert after the fuge in the return chamber to catch these before the pump gets em. Does this sound like it will work?

Yup, I have one on my return, on my skimmer.

M y skimmer return line is 2.5 inches. I remembered I had a pump round pre filter laying around and it fit neatly and tightly inside the end of the return line. The back pressure is nominal and I have enoeph adjustment left in the skimmer to compensate. We will see in the morning if it is a improvement. I just need to remember to take it out from time to time and clean it!
