Just got a 56.5gal acrylic tank with oak stand and canopy for $100.00. Need some ideas for building a sump/refugium. What is the best type of filtration for a sump? I'm going to be getting a 50 gallon for the sump but I want decent size refugium for my sump. What supplies are needed? What size return pump do I need?

If you check my tank build (90 Gallon Reef - Play by Play) you can see the design I used for my sump. I will be totally honest. After some bumps and bruises with the glass and silicone, it was really easy and cheap to whip up - and it kicks ass. The flow is great. The bubble chamber actually works. And the size fuge I have is perfect for both rock and a DSB. Let me know if you have any questions.
