air intake for rio ph...

I tried again, to no avail! I hooked up the venturi, and a froath of bulbs went into the skimmer chamber, exactly how i want it! Then the bubls started right down the middle chamber, and into the outlet, releasing a froath of bubbles into my tank! I tried everything, I even tried putting a check valve on the line, to limit the amount of air, but didnt work! Im gonna try a airpump, but I do not have a fine bubble airstone...

When I was running my cpr back2r i always had some bubbles going into the tank. I got the bubble trap which help was a pain to clean the foam pad all the time.
It was really bad the first 2 weeks till it broke in good then died down some but any time I feed or did anything it would bubble for a few hours.

It always let some bubbles out, but nothing like this! All i saw was a white cloud! Do you need a refug to go skimmerless? The POS rio just gave me an electric shock!! when I was putting the xenia in the tank, it gave me a pretty nasty shock, I feel so bad for my perc! the rio now lives in the garbage... how about one of those hang on refugiums? which ones are good?
