stinky skimmer
I just quit smoking, so now I can smell things that I didn't notice before. My etss works so well that the whole room smells fishy. I know that the skimmer is not the problem, its just doing its job. Can I connect the skimmer's air intake to the collect cup, so the air is being recycled? Will it decrease the performance of the skimmer? I got this idea from the Prizm skimmer.

Don't know if it'll decrease the performance of your skimmer or not. But here's my suggestion: go get some of those carbon filter pads for Skilter filters...cut it to size and set it over to air outlet for the skimmer, the carbon should efectively remove the majority of the odor. In the alternative, you could just do a whole lot of your screen name, and not worry about a Da*& thing........

I had a ETSS Gemini 750. If you go to ETSS's website(www.superskimmer.com) , they have a carbon container that works great. NO SMELLS.
