"mildew resistant" silicon- oops!
I was recently reading Joyce Wilkersons Clownfish book and noticed that she bothered to warn against using "mildew resistant" silicon, I chuckled to myself, what kind of fool would ... Oops, I just noticed 1/2 tube of said stuff in my calking gun - that means I used it to install overflows in my 125. That was 10 months ago, no apparant ill effects. What do you think? Long term problem or no sweat at this point?

Does anything grow on it?
Most silicon and silicon2s that contain anti mildew components also contain anti-fungal and in some cases anti bacterial agents.
