Pump for my 220
I puchased a used 220 gal for $375 this summer
. I've already got a PM Bullet-2 skimmer. I plan to put on a Lifereef double overflow @ 1700 gal/hr into a 55 gal sump/refugium. There will be about a 3' head.My question is, will an Ampmaster 3000 power the skimmer and the return? The bullet requires at least a Sen 900 by all accounts. Thanks, Gene |

Gene,
It should work ok if you use gate valves. How about getting the tank drilled? |

I'd LOVE to have it drilled. The thing weighs 600 lbs, however. Even if I could muster the team (twice) to move it the local glass company refuses to guarantee that they won't crack the glass. If they goof up I'd probably have to wait a long time for another good deal like that.
