Well i've narrowed my choices of a new skimmer down to either a EuroReef CS6-1 or CS6-2. i have a 65 gal tank. which EuroReef should i go for in my situation? i want to have a good amount of skimming without having to worry about problems arising from excess nutrients. would the CS6-2 really make that big of a differance? it is about 100 dollars more than the CS6-1. or my third and fourth option i could go with is an aqua c 90 or 150. i don't really want to consider a beckett as they require a large pump that will add additional heat to my tank. So here are my choices and hoping i can get some good opinions. as of now the CS6-1 seems to be the logical choice.
thanks, steve |

I would go euroreef . The size you may want the bigger one for future upgrades but the smaller one should be fine. FWIW the beckets that use bigger pumps , when using external they will produce less heat than a senpump that uses no fan to cool them.

I agree with IRONREEF get the bigger one if you can afford it will save you money down the line when you upgrade. Dont say you want get a bigger tank cause everyone know you will
Also i think the euroreef would bebetter then the aquc anyway but he is right bout less heat with the external pump.Blue ![]()

I can't really use an external pump though because i have a glass sump that dosen't have bulkheads already drilled. anyways keep the opinions coming.

Check with Andy (aka myreef). I have heard nothing but good things about his skimmers. You might be able to save some $$. He makes all sizes of skimmers based on becketts.
