Any opinions on using a Magnavore 2 on a 72-gal bowfront?
Hi, everyone. I've been browsing around, and looking into buying a magnetic cleaner for my 72-gal bowfront FOWLR tank. From looking at past threads, people seem to really, really like the Magnavore line.
Would a Magnavore 2 be a good choice, given the shape and size of my tank? I know they're a bit pricey, but in the past, I've tried so many scrubbing pads and scrapers that I'd really like to pay what needs to be paid for a best and final solution for cleaning my tank glass. Thanks, Tarek |

I have a 72 and 155 bow front. I clean the glass about twice a week. I've been using Algen Magneet de Luxe...now I know these arn't the best by far but I've been using them for along time and they do a good job at cleaning the glass. They can also go around corners without falling off. However...they wont remove coraline, just the soft stuff more or less. They cost $20.00 for the Type B. FWIW
