Help, New tank might have crack
I have a 180 gal tank that has nothing in it yet (no water/anything). I noticed what looks like a 5 inch crack in the glass, however, it might be a silicone drip because it hangs below a glob of silicone. Does anyone know what I can use to remove silicone so I can verify it is not a crack? Thanks!

Where is the crack? If its at a corner I wouldn't remove any silicone for fear that it might make the joint weak. You should be able to feel if its a crack or silicone.

it turned out to be a "silicone drip". It was located in the very center of the front of the tank. It was not easy to tell that it was silicone because it was long, thin and straight. I took a razor blade and VERY gently ran it across. It pulled the silicone right up. Thanks (near heart-attack)
