i still have to seal the inside and paint it
i also will have a 55 gallon sump inside it the out side of the stand is red oak the doors are oak plywood the stain is minwax wood stain color provincial then topped off with mccloskey man of war MARINE spar varnish gloss (i like the shiney wet look) i got the varnish from home depot i have also seen it at orchard supply the tank is going to be a 225 gallon 72long 30wide 24high |

so ,you made the doors out of plywood with some corner trim ,it looks like?simple and looks good,i hope the outside of my stand looks as good as youres when its done.what are you planning on sealing the inside with?im about to seal mine with a two part epoxy
i posted pics of my frame a few weeks ago and it has since been painted and primed a couple times and i do the epoxy probly tomorrow. |

yes lotsa pics/details.yes two part epoxy my stand has to be the most overkill of all time the most important thing is im having fun ,im sure you are too ![]() |

I see it is sitting on carpet. Do you have some sort of base screwed down to the floor for it to sit on to keep it from being tippy?
