the stain is minwax wood stain

then topped off with mccloskey man of war
MARINE spar varnish gloss (i like the shiney wet look)
i got the varnish from home depot
i have also seen it at orchard supply
the tank is going to be a 225 gallon
72long 30wide 24high

As we say in Alabama, "That ain't goin' nowhere!"
Nice job. Very heavy duty.
How can you eat fish at a Red Lobster and then go home to face your tank? THATS COLD!
I see it is sitting on carpet. Do you have some sort of base screwed down to the floor for it to sit on to keep it from being tippy?
with the stand being 30 inc wide
i wont have a problem with it tipping (god i hope not)![]()
wuelfmann ,once nealy 2500 or so pounds is sitting on that thing, you wont be able to push it over if you want to![]()
