Where to drill sump for AMP3000?
My tanks are in and my LFS needs to know where to put the hole for my AMP3000 on my sump. I know I want a 2 1/4" hole on the end of the tank, but how high does the hole need to be?

biglar,
the intake on my ampmaster 3000 with the anti vibration pad in place,is just under 4 inches high on center.so assuming the ampmaster will sit beside youre sump,there or a little higher than that should work well.hth |

Like Organic said about 3.5-4" should be fine. I just checked mine and its about 3 5/8"..........

I want to make sure I got this right...the CENTER of the hole should be 4" from the bottom of the tank?
