I use two Sea Swirls now just because I don't like to have a bunch of powerheads in my tank. I used a Wave-strip for a few years along with 4 Maxi-Jet powerheads. It worked very well.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me of a brand of wavemaker they have and if they are satisfied with it. I was leaning towards Redsea, mainly because it has 4 outlets it switches back an forth to. Appreciate any replys.![]()

Thanks for your replys. I used to have a Sandpoint wavemaker but it lasted only a year. I also have 2 sea swirls but I would like to increase the randomness of my 4 powerheads. I believe the wavemaster pro is the redsea model. Thanks![]()
I use 2 wavemaster pro's and a couple sea swirls on my system. One of the wavemasters is malfunctioning and only a couple of the outlets are working. I have had it for over a year so now I use it with only 2 powerheads.
I run 4 maxijet 1200's behind the rockwork in my 95 along with a 1" seaswirl from a mag 1800 through my chiller (closed loop)
I am going to add another 3/4" sea swirl for the return from the mag 950 from the sump soon.
