New Stand and Canopy from Bio-Reef
Got my new tank setup last week (120 Oceanic). Here's a pic of the stand and canopy. Its cherry wood with a natural finish on it. The canopy is 12.5" high, the stand is 38" high.

Looks good. I like how the cherry wood looks. They do a good job on their stands.

naser,
the ballast is resting on two pieces of marble tile and is elevated from the floor by about an inch |

beautiful, but does the hood have any doors?im almost done building my hood for my 120 oceanic, and i put 2 doors on the front and a door on each side
i agree with haveing a good seal on that wood,i would reccomend a polyurathane,or a two part epoxy. |

thanks guys,
the whole front of the canopy opens up and folds back. The canopy is hinged right in the middle. |

Looks good John! Wish my canopies opened like that. Got to like the piano style opening. Makes it very easy to work in even with the extra height and halides!

what do they(bio reef) put on the wood to protect it? |

JG,
Very nice! organic reefer, I think most lighting articles would suggest running the lights perpendicular to the tank just as JG has them set up for more even lighting distribution over the tank. FWIW, Nathan |

Beautiful Stand and Hood!
One of the nicest hoods I've seen. I have to stop looking at these kinds of pictures, or I'll wind up buying a new tank.
