what thickness styrofoam did you place under your tank?
I just built a platform to hold a 60 gallon tank (48 X 15 X 20) and I want to know what thickness styrofoam you used. I bought 2 1/2 inch pieces. Should I use both? Only one? I'm thinking it can't hurt to have extra under there, but I want to hear what other people used.
Thanks Brian

Hey guys! I hate to sound like an idiot, but what are you talking about? I have never heard of this. You mean IN the tank, like under the sand/coral? What is the purpose?
Thanks!

i would only reccomend styrofoam under an acrylic tank.all glass tank manufacturers reccomend you place the tank directly on the stand(hard level surface)
