Andy Daiss at My Reef Creations , presents himself to be a very pleasant and helpful individual. Seems like a good-natured fellow, I found him very responsive!

I just ordered a custom MR-3 with extras; I find his pricing pretty reasonable. I ordered mine yesterday, and my shipping date has been set for the first week of November. Apparently his ship dates are Tuesdays and Fridays.

agreed. the mr-2 is without a pump. but if you figure it handles up to 300 gallons, and you check around for prices of skimmer that can handle 300 gallons youl find there pretty pricey without pumps also.

I will probably order the 300 gallon model. I have been skimmerless for 8 months.

Always seem to have that peach hair algea thing going on the reef. My RO/DI is not diluting the problem. Caulerpa is not growing fast enough to export on a weekly basis.

Time to bring in the big boy. I WANT HEAVY SKIMMING.

I will go with the total package deal myreef offers. SKimmer + pump

Probably will build a 6 foot model just for Sh?ts and grins. Need something faster, bigger and stronger to tinker with.

So 280.00+ for the skimmer and 100.00++ for the pump.....Hmmmmm, I'll stick with my Euro-reef.

I have read nothing but good things about Andy and his skimmers. The only thing that kept me away from them was the giant pumps needed to drive the beckets head.
