    Exclamation What sump is right?

Hi everyone! I have finally decided to add a sump to my 65g fowlr tank. Can anyone help me choose the right size and also the overflow (tank not drilled). Also can someone tell me of a good online place to purchase one? I would appreciate any advice, since I'm a bit blank on this subject!

    Thanks

Generaly the the larger the sump the better. The bigger it is the more room you have for your protien skimmer , heater, and baffles to help get rid of bubbles going back to tank.
The size of the the over flow sholud be big enough to handle what ever flow you want in you tank. I would shoot for at least a 600 gph overflow and probably bigger.

Putting in a sump can be such a hassle, I had to do a lot of research, especially because I don't know much about plumbing, etc., but it is well worth the effort. The overflow I originally used was not trustworthy. So, although a bit more expensive, I bought an overflow from www.Lifereef.com a year ago. I can rest easy, and the service is great!

I have my overflow and pump now. Who has some step by step pictures they would like to share? I'm ready to go and have no clue!
