I see you moved the Skimmer, but I personally don't like my tank lit from the bottom.
Looks like you're getting ready... The worst part will be when you have water in there and the system running and waiting for the tank to cycle down before putting things in there.

im getting 50 pounds of new live rock. ive got a 100 in my 55gallon allready. while that cycles ill still be buying stuff for it. ill light the 50 pounds with my vho lighting. then ill swap all the mh's and pc's over along with the rock. time is working for me trying to get a reactor and all. god just two 1 inch seaswirls and a ampmaster is 5 or 6 hundred dollars. im not rich so i cant buy everything over night.

very nice naser how tall is it?how tall is the stand too ,by the way?im totally feeling you on the not rich part,how much have you spent so far?im afraid to do the math on my new set-up
still got some stuff to buy as well.................im making progress this weekend,my tank will be full of water by next weekend at the latest(god ,how many times have i said that? )expect some pics![]() |

the tank itself is 24 inches tall the stand is 30inches, and the canopy is 12 inches tall. plan on drill two 4 inch holes to accomadate two 4 inch icecap temp controled fans. the sad thing is im gonna use a mag18 for my skimmer at 140watts and a ampmaster3000 for my return at about 100watts...huh?

does anyone know were i can get a nice quality vho bracket? or lamp holders? not those cheap little black ones i want some nice acrylic.

if i dont do one thing here or one thing there, ill kick myself in the ass later. my 55 i hate how its setup. it works but its ugly, lights hanging from the ceiling. just really trying to get it done before i fil it.
