Tank Main return pump
I have had this pump for about 10 years now (Little Giant Pump 1/15 hp 3MDQX-SC) . I am wondering if its normal for the pump to just slowly reduce its output . I have always had pumps just fail. This one doesnt seem to hold the corner overflow levels down any more . It used too . Next question What pump do you I suggest I replace it with ? Tank is 135 gal and has a 40 gallon sump. Tried cleaning everything and it was fine . Very odd to me at least. TIA

Just curious when you say you have tried cleaning it do you let the pump run in vinegar for a few days? then in fresh for a few days? from what I have heard this is the best way to clean them as it will break down all the calcium deposits I have done this and it has seemed to bring the pump back to par for the most part if you have done this than yes I would definately get another one and have the old one as a backup! 10 yrs is good life though i would say out of a pump

Good advice from scuba !!
It' nice to see product last as long as your pump, I bought a pair of 802's back around 1986 and one is still in operation like 15 years running continuously, it's amazing !!
