just curious, i noticed that it's tightly packed in there. how do you get into the tanks?
the ten gallon slides out so i can top off,the sump is in the middle and i have good access to that, the only one thats really tight is the refugium, and i guess ill only be yanking caluerpa out of there so no need for too much room, just enough.yes its very tight, but everything screws apart as far as plumbing goes and i can get everything in /out with a little bit of effort(did it, i re-did my sump to get rid of bubbles).
was it expensive to get the glass drilled?
well the oceanic is reef ready ,i drilled the refugium and the ten gallon myselfit costed 11 bucks i think for the bit at HD. its alot easier than you might think .i almost wish i had drilled the back of the oceanic for the closed loop ,but since i have to throttle the damn ampmaster back half way anyway ,i dont see that it matters since the pipes are hidden in the overflows.

its my first and wont be my last. ive really started enjoying working with wood, trying to find something to build;) .
i wish. the only thing i was thinking i might want to add is a ca reactor.i was thinking i might build a little cabinet for one if need be,or come up with something.anyway ,i think ive eliminated the "tank budget" for the year
