welp it came out alot better than imagined. i changed all the flex to ridged. made it look alot nice. put a mag18 for my skimmer and a mag7 for the return. plumbed my closed loop to the ampmaster. i might change the mag7 to a 9.5.. not sure yet though. .. up all night piping this thing. it finally has no bubble returning with tons of flow.

6foot by 18 inch by 24 inch 125 gallon reef. im starting to load it with live rock, with hope that it will cycled by christmas. then i can swap out my existing 55 gallons corals and rocks. i have about 100 pounds in the 55. im hoping this will be enough live rock. im lighting it with two 140watt vho's right now, and will bring my 2 400 watt mh's over when i swap.

I would think that 180 lbs should be enough. I have probably less than 150 lbs in my 125 and consider it enoughthough I could put more in if I wanted with out much problem. Once you start puting in cave and ledges it will fill up fast.
