skimmer for 46 gal

I'm looking to set up a sump on my 46 gallon to house an in-sump skimmer. Any recommendations? I've been considering things like the AquaC EV series, EuroReef, and Red Sea Berlin skimmers. I'm probably looking to spend a maximum of $300-$400. I'm more concerned about performance than cost. I also want to section off my sump for a refugium. I currently have a hang-on ecosystem which I will transfer the contents to the new refugium. Any suggestions on what sections I should put the skimmer and the refugium in the sump? I'm probably going to try a 20 gallon long glass tank for the sump although I'm not sure if that's going to fit under my stand yet. What kind of lighting should I use for the refugium? I know PC's would be ideal but they are kind of expensive. I was wondering if you could get away with just using regular flourescent ballasts with maybe some 10k or 20k bulbs. Thanks guys!

For the money and the size tank you are talking about I suggest a Aqua C urchin (larger one).

Sure, probely better, but is it needed? Why spend the extra cash? The larger tank skimmers are also larger in space. If you set the sump up with a refigium the extra large skimmer may not be needed.

larger skimmers also consume more elec, even the efficinet motor users like euroreefs.
