Best Set Up for New 36" Tank (Built In?)
Ok - so I'm setting up another tank - gonna do a 36" long over my wet bar (built into wall) - there will be an access closet behind it, so noise really isnt an issue:
I'm looking at a 55R - which is 36x18x18, i believe - its gotta be a 36". Going to set it up as a FOWLR - my 72 Reef currently eats up too much $$$. Questions: - Should I do one of the built in IFS systems (ie clarity plus) or what about the SeaClear version - dont know about them. - or should I do sump? I can use an acrylic tank with an internal overflow - question is, which would be the best wet dry (Oceanic, others) Any advice is appreciated. Thanks |

i would use onre of the already inexpensive tanks on the market with a built in overflow.
The 65g which is 36x18x24 i believe would be a good choice. this tank retails around me for about $225.00. That is a relatively cheap tank, all things considered. And leaves plenty of money for a sump, skimmer and a big return pump. Rick
