Does anyone know if DAS has a website???

Hello NWR,
I do have a DAS model BX-2. It's an in sump unit and works quite good. It skims great and uses very little electricity. The needle wheel design allows it to be a very compact unit for the ammount of water it processes which is great if you are short on space. I do have a few issues with the quality of the skimmer. It is made from very thin acrylic with seams that come apart. When i first got it one of the included pumps was defective and had to be replaced. Also, after a few months the original needlewheel/impellers wore out and had to be replaced. DAS included 2 extra ones that have worked great for the last year+ It seems the material used for the original ones was too soft. Overall I'm impressed with the performance but the quality of the unit is not good. I would not recommend them any longer. My next skimmer will probably be a Euro-reef.

The distributors over here in the UK have set site up ,the skimmers are german and made by a company called "Deltec". Very popular in the UK and effeicient to boot.

They also make Reactors and Ca stirrers.

I just bought a Deltec AP600, I'ts suposed too be the best skimmer in northern europe......

I'ts probably an exelent skimmer but the best in N- europe, I think not.

I paid about 310Quids for it (4000 Kroner)

Just think, if Norway and the U.K. had gone with the euro, you wouldn't have to do all those currency conversion calculations.
