I don't know about that exact model but I have a ETSS Gemini that I have been using since June and it works great. I have been happy with both the design and the performance.

IMo ets was good but now with all the new skimmers it's not as good. They are good in 800 and up but for smaller ones try a becket =myreef ,bullet or aerofoamer. or a euroreef. These are the better ones imo

About three years ago these were the "best skimmer out there" This is when I converted my FO 55 gal to a reef. The money I spent on the Reef devil 2 was probably the biggest waste. IMO, Its a lousy skimmer......

Check out the aqua-medic T-1000..I'ts a god sized skimmer for your tank.
I'd choose a euro-reef, but the T-1000 is also good. Lifereef and myreef seems like good skimmer too ![]() |

ETSS
although none of you REALLY reccomend the ETSS, its effectively the best skimmer i can find in my area. How would you compare the reef devil with the berlin classic?
is the ETSS reef devil better? also im really liking the downdraft |

Dont get a skimmer from your lfs, get it online. Premium aquatics and marine depot have really good prices on skimmers. My vote would be a euroreef if you can afford it. I have a T-1000 and it requires alot of adjustments to get it to produce nice dry foam. But it is cheap and works well for a tank your size.

i have the etss 1000 classic, modified with a beckett.it works great but as others have stated ,it requires a large pump=alot of electricity.the super reef devil would definitely be a step above the berlin so if its all you can find it is better.

question on skimmers. I went to a reef store (huge place with huge selections) a friend that went me ask about skimmers, and the reply was, they are a waste of money we never use them. So what I would like is for all you to give me reasons for having one on my tank, good or bad. I would like some info on skimmers, I was going to get one but now im unsure.

etss are fairly built Im not sure on the turbofloator. You need to look at both these in action and decide for yourself. There isn't online vendors in canada= probally cheaper than lfs??Reguardless if you get ets. They will be better than berlin
