    Quietest Fans

I am looking for the quietest 3 or 4" fan for my canopy. I have 4 VHO's and 2 NO's. I am looking for 25dB or lower. Thanks!

IC fans are the loudest at full bore according to IC themselves. Noise rating 45 dB at idle to 51.db at full speed.

I would look at radio shack.

Even the Hosfelts 115 VAC Low Noise Boxer Fans are only 41 dB

Timing has an awful lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Ltspd, did you get new fans? If so, what kind and from where? I read the Orion fans are quiet. There's a thread on RC that says the 51 cfm fan rates 25dB. Do you know if this fan is any good?

I am now using no fans, only well placed vent holes. I have no heat problems, and the living room is much quieter

And they cost more What a added benifit

I can say that the temp probe is a very nice feature, its ashame they cant use a even quieter fan, and a lower price.

you can get a temp control switch from most hydroponic stores.it allows you to have a pre set temp when the fans come on ,ive been thinking of getting one .the are about 45 bucks, and you can hook all youre fans to it.
