Anyone out there have a lot of pump noise?
What would be the best and safest way to get the noise level down.
I was thinking of lining my cabinet. What would be the best stuff to use?
thanks, Bill

there is this stuff called"sound board" ,its designed to dampen noise.you can find it at HD. hth![]()
Thanks. I'll check it out. Sort of want something a little fireproof- ya never know.
I went to Target and got some foam padding. It's really a mattress pad. I paid $16 for a queen size piece. I stapled it to the walls and doors of the stand and it really cut down on the noise. It doesn't look to great but it works well. I should add that my stand is completely enclosed so I had to add a fan for ventalation. Bob
Oops, forgot the pic:

rwd ,dont you think "foam" will break down over time ,considering the moist /humid/saltsplash ridden area its in???
as long as its not all glued in i guess you can always take it out though![]()
Don't know. I guess it's possible but it's only $16 and I could replace it. I would think that since it is not exposed to uv light or a lot of heat it should be fine. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Bob
