    Tank noise

Anyone out there have a lot of pump noise?
What would be the best and safest way to get the noise level down.
I was thinking of lining my cabinet. What would be the best stuff to use?
    thanks, Bill

I went to Target and got some foam padding. It's really a mattress pad. I paid $16 for a queen size piece. I stapled it to the walls and doors of the stand and it really cut down on the noise. It doesn't look to great but it works well. I should add that my stand is completely enclosed so I had to add a fan for ventalation. Bob

rwd ,dont you think "foam" will break down over time ,considering the moist /humid/saltsplash ridden area its in???
as long as its not all glued in i guess you can always take it out though

Don't know. I guess it's possible but it's only $16 and I could replace it. I would think that since it is not exposed to uv light or a lot of heat it should be fine. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Bob
