i just got these two new ones a couple months ago.
i can defintiely see how these things couldnt handle the 24/7 on/off for even a few months.
i have an older 1"...about three and a half years old ,thats whisper quiet,and works as good as ever;; its "better" than my new ones dont have that manual though...
