Exclamation tried to count my head!!

Ok I think that most of you know my plan is on plubing my close loop with a AM3000 feeding 2 SS's and a spray bar.
Well I figured where the pump would in the stand right below the tank and the intakes bout half way up the tank and I studied the "best" way to split the lines , I thought that I would end up with much head
I tried to do and math and ened up with like 13ft of head That means I wont get sh*t for return flow.

Rough count: about 2 1/2ft from the pump to the double wye(also the manifold) I will have a ball valve on the output of the 3 lines coming out the wye. The center "split" line will go right to a elbow and through a bulkhead to a "sweep tee" for the spray bar which woll be bout 4ft long. ok?
Then the two other lines will be about 2 long each and run up into a sweep elbow and into 3/4" Seaswirls.
Somebody help me here

Dont sweat it. Its given me a headache figuring out my new plan. IMO you will be very happy with the way it was sketched in the other thread. Its time to put this behind us and enjoy.

Your 3 lines aren't near as much head as you have calculated. It's actually more like a total of 3 ft for all three lines. That includes a slight over-estimate for the spraybar and the seaswirls.

Without doing the hard-core math, you're probably looking at about 5 or 6 feet of total head. What's your rated flowrate at that head pressure?

HTH.

Huh I dont understand how ya got that. But at that amount of head I'm looking at 2800-3000gph and that more like it That what I wanted to get .
