F/o tank filter problem~~
(F/O tank setup) Help~ canister filter
HI guys~~~ I plan to new F/O tank. About 40gallon NO-Sump Tank I wanna have one majestic or blueface angel and 4 small other fishes. which is the best selection used eheim 2260 or new eheim 2226? And.... What do I fill media in it? media by eheim are cool? could you recommand filter media_combination to me? Thank you in advance~~~ Have a Good Day~~~~ |

Im not 100% sure but I believe a Majestic Angel will outgrow that tank in no time flat....as far as the filter for a FO it will probably work as long as it is matched to the bioload....I think your best bet would be to have a DSB and/or some really nice LR for natural filtration...forget the mechanical filter and spend the money on a good skimmer.

I have a question about Eheim 2229(w/d)... someone said becase of character of eheim 2229( the water is full and empty repetedly), the difference of water depth in tank is happened. So it causes improper skimming ability.... In case of No_Sump_Tank, Is it happened? Is he correct? could you reply for me? Thank you..... Have a good day.~~~ |
