Has anyone used a CPR cyclone filter and what did you think of the skimmer?

I was thinking of trying one with the bio bale removed. I just bought a life reef slim overflow and want to get rid of my hang on skimmer and heater in the main tank and move it down below. The cyclone has a built in skimmer and i was wondering how these perform? The max sump size i can have is 18x11 1/2x15.I currently run a 5 1/2 gallon sump which is to small to fit anything in. If anyone has any other ideas let me know. My hangon is a remora and i am not sure if i want to replace this with the built in one that comes with the cpr filter if it is unefficient. Also did the cpr skmmer return any bubbles back to the main tank?
