Thumbs up LiterMeter Wooohooo!!

Got the LiterMeter calibrated and working! It rocks, but the questions is, how do you get it to stop shaking when the pump is running? Its in a temporary spot right now and it shakes enough to move the inlet and outlet tubes (to the point where they no longer stay under water). Short of getting my pet elephant to sit on it, what can I use to secure it "temporarily". Oh and a big book on reefkeeping doesn't work, I've tried...

I can't see why it would be shaking. I have mine attached to a wooden shelf with velcro strips.

I haven't velcroed it yet as its not in its final position, but needs to be running right now before I take off on vacation. Not only does the unit itself shake, but so do the lines running in from the water supply and out to the sump. I'm just trying to make sure the end in the sump doesn't fall out while I'm gone and dose the floor instead. How did you secure the end of the outlet line?

I would say something is wrong with it. Mine runs smooth, like a babys bottom

Could be the line is not running on the rollers correctly

Wow, now a dosing pump is considered "basic equipment"? Yikes, does that mean my calcium reactor and controllers are also basic equipment? I guess this hobby has progressed pretty heavily the last 7 years that I've been out.
