Kent Neptune TE Skimmer/Prizim Pro
Both of these are new skimmers, both are 300 gallon capacity. Has anyone tried either? The Prizim Pro is like the regular Prizim, but is larger (small method of skimming).

I don't have the prizm pro, but I saw it working at a fish store. It is over twice the size of the original prizm and it has a built in over flow. the waste cup has very foaming dark expresso color liquid in it. It look impressive for a H.O.T skimmer.

one more thing, I own the prizm and it barely handled my 29 gal fowlr. even though, prizm is rated for 90gal tank. I don't think prizm pro can keep a 300gal tank clean.

Midnighttoker, I think the main problem is the small pump. All others have bigger pumps.

Hmmmmm, I looked all over the web for the prizm pro, to see if I could find info on it. Do any of you have a link to it? I went on redsea's web site, they have not updated it in a while.
Thanks |
