SpectraPure 2-stage 15gpd RO

howdy!

I found this on premium aqautics on sale for 79.95 here are the descriptions:

SpectraPure 2-stage 15gpd RO

Ultracompact
SpectraPure quality
High flow & rejection TFC membrane
10" high activity sediment/granular carbon filter (1500 gallon chlorine removal capacity)
Brass garden hose adapter for easy & reliable hook-up

SpectraPure SP systems incorporate high flow and high rejection TFC membranes and a high activity 10" granular carbon filter (works as both sediment and carbon filter).

Would this be worthy to get? Would this be enough clarity for water use at my home. Which isn't very good water.

thanks for any info.

Its not a good unit if your tap water is a poor as you say. I would go for a 3 or 4 stage with a DI added. Dont skimp here. My motto is

"if you start with bad water then your off to a bad start"

tech1, I just bought a 2 stage r/o unit just over a month or so ago. I got it from Bryan at www.aquaticreefsystems.com. It is a 100 gpd unit. I think you will find that you will like that much better than the 15 gpd unit you are looking at. It's price is about the same as the one you quoted. I used to have a bare bones 10 gpd unit and this is so much better and quicker to use. I do plan on adding a third stage to it in a couple of months. Give Bryan an e-mail/phone call (he carrys a cell phone with him and wants you to call, trust me. He called me twice answering e-mail questions I had and he says his incoming calls are free to him). At least check out his site, you won't be sorry. He has excellent customer service and generally will answer you that same day.

TECH 1, You really wouldn't know until you get one that only produces 15 gal a day that the first time you want an extra 15 gals quick that the 15 gpd just don't cut it.
Get at least 50 or 60 GP day .
