Hey All,
I have been in the process of moving my 140 down my wall to accomodate a 30g grow out tank.(man what a job).I plumbed the two together with some 1"pvc.Since the 30 is lower than the 140 I opted to to make it a gravity fed system with a flow valve on the incoming side.Baically the same on the sump return side except w/ no valve. After getting the flow rate adjusted I am happy to say that all is doing well.
Now to my problem.....After getting everything back in the main tank and plugging eveything back up,I went to reset the timers on my doser. When I looked at it I noticed all of the side B"(part 2 B-Ionic,Calcium)"was gone.Nothing got moved as far as equipment goes. The tank was slid as a whole with the exception of water and livestock. Both sides were a little under half full. Will dumping all that calcium at once be detrimental in any way(good or bad)I still have the rest of part 1 left.Should I continue dosing the #1 each night until it is gone or dose it in all at once to even it out.
Has anyone ever had this happen before or know how this might have happened, any way they can back siphon into the tank after the air pump shuts off.
Thanx,
Roger
