Possible Bak Pak II mod?

I am in the process of putting my bak pak back unto my 25 gallon reef/anenome tank/ The bak pak is running a MJ 1200 and Iam going to add a wooden airstone also. Iam curious if there is a way I can modify the collection cup to feed the skimmate into a larger container. I leave town alot and need it so I don't have to empty it to often..Any ideas anyone done it any pics?

You may be able to drill a small hole in the cup and thread it or simply put a nipple in it and run a tube down to a bottle. Only problem i can forsee is the tube being blocked or something to that nature. Alot would depend on how high your cup is in the skimmer. But is worth a shot. Let us know how it goes and if indeed you do it

Jeff, actually that's a great idea!! Be careful with the drilling, though. I'd hate to see plastic get cracked while drilling. I'm skimmerless at the moment, and hopefully will stay that way.....but only time will tell.
