Hi All,
Was wondering how much you paid for just your tank? I'm trying to get an idea of how much I'm going to be paying. Thanks for all your help.

I don't have one but I was pricing tanks last night and it seems they were around $310 for RR. This was LFS pricing.

Hey All,
Thanks Reefland! That's about what I was figuring.

What stores do you shop in CT? I used to go to Marine Invertebrates on the Post Rd. however I understand the owner passed a while back. That is the only store I found when I lived in Derby that was worth visiting.

Hey Reefland,
I use to shop there also. As a matter of fact he was suppose to help me set my 1st tank up but, you know the rest. I've been going to a new store which opened up right down the street called Coral Reef Imports but, something is going on with that store. That's where I ordered my 120 (which I haven't paided for yet) and I was suppose to pick it up 3 weeks ago but, the store has been closed. It's not like the owner to just not show up so I'm getting a little concerned that something happened there too, which would be a real shame. There's a small shop right in Shelton which started out good but seems to be going down hill although the owner is a good friend of my son so I do still go there. Everywhere else is in lower fairfield county so things seem a little high priced.
I need to find a place soon though because I just got off the phone with my father and he's coming to start the installation - the 120 is going in the wall between the family and dinning rooms. So he's putting the wall unit in today! I guess there's no turning back!

Isn't one of the popular online stores located in Greenwich?
Teh 120 in the wall sounds really cool! What are some of the specifics of your plan? What kind of lighting are you planning on using?
Scott Z.
Hey Reefland,
Actually a good friend of mine is the one who came up with all the plans - he had a tank built into his wall and so he and my husband have been working on that aspect while I've been busy remodeling the rest of the house. The tank is my reward for putting up with all the grief of remodeling. So - as for the lighting we're debating that issue right now. I'm not sure I want MH's in the wall I'm afraid they may get to hot. So I'm thinking PCs. I'm not planing on keeping clams or anything to light demanding or difficult I really want to keep it simple. Still not sure which way to go. But I'll let you know.
