Calcium reactors and CO2 bottles
Where can I get a CO2 bottle (Aluminum) for my calcium reactor. I just ordered it yesterday from Champion Lighting Supply. I need one that will connect good with a Blueline CO2 System.
I would like a small bottle. |

Chris,
You can get a filled CO2 bottle from one of your local welding shops. The 5lb Aluminum bottle I bought was ~$69 filled. A refill costs between $8-25 depending on the size of your bottle. Some places will lease or rent a bottle, but it is usually more cost effective to purchase one up front. On our 75RR, we've been running 6 months with a 5lb bottle and it has just started to move off the 1000lb mark. If you have room for a 10lb bottle, it isn't much more expensive and will last much longer. We didn't have room and went with the 5lb. I'd recommend calling around. Between the 4 places I called locally, there was a $20 price difference. Good Luck. Now comes the hard part! You've got to get it tuned in... Doug
