BackPack and Maxijet is noisy

Hi All,
Over the weekend I swithced out the Rio for the MaxiJet 1200 with the mod from Premium Aquatics. I noticed right away that this set-up is a lot louder thatn the Rio was.
Has any one who has done this expereinced the same problem?

Yup... I got the same results and less bubbles. I am going back to the rio next time I clean the skimmer.

I also noticed a difference but what I did was lift up the skimmer and put a small stip of foam under the skimmer that seemed to help alot. Must have been vibration. The bubbles will quit once you get it tuned in.
