    Calcium reactor recommendation..DIY

Anyone here have a recommendation of which set of Calc reactor plans to go with?
My plumbing skills aren't super great but are decent.

Can you post a difficulty rating 1-10 with 10 being the MOST difficult and 1 least?

Also a avg total cost of the pvc parts used.

    Thanks.

I am trying to figure out the easiest and least expensive reactor.

    cheap and easy reactors

    hows it going man

I have some plans that are for a calcium reactor that are exact duplicates of the PM reactor. However, this reactor does not have a clear tube and you need some tools. I personally think that this will end up being around 100 bucks with the pump. You can get a reactor at www.coalfragz.com for 99 bucks without the pump or the tank. I found a tank for mine at a welding supply store for 99 bucks and the included the regulator and valves.

    any way thanks

    Check these out.

    http://www.myreefcreations.com/reactors.html

I have just started looking into reactors for my tank so i don't know how these compare in price to others.

    They look pretty good IMO.

They have a great looking line of skimmers too.

If you're going to try the DYI route, here is a detailed set of plans. www.animalnetwork.com/fish2/...s/2/default.asp I'm going to give it a go, I'll let you know how it goes.

Sorry, that page no longer exists. But you can still access it through the archives. I don't know how to post it, but maybe one of you guys can retrieve that site.
