Hi bjfoster!
Welcome to Reefland!
Well, you have read posts about it because we used to have a little shop however due to some professional career changes I made, I had to close it. There is a newer store in Louisville that isn't too bad called Aquatica but I am sure you are aware of it. I still live in Bardstown so if you ever want to chat or need some help, let me know. ![]() Scott Z. |

Scott,
THanks for the reply. Glad to find someone in the area to chat with. Do you have any dealings past or present with the louisville marine aquarium society. I have e-mailed them twice with no response. I am starting a 125 aga rr and am slowly putting it together piece by piece. Already have my lighting 3 mh 250w 14k and 2 96w 7100k blue pc's. You mentioned the aquatica store. Todd the owner is building my sump and should be done in a few weeks. He offers good advice and has a great shop. Visited home depot on preston hwy yesterday and picked up 4 bags of southdown. Not many lef so I may go a pick up a few more today. thanks again for the reply. Bobby F. |

Hi Bobby!
I have only dealt with Todd a few times but seems to be knowledgable and has better prices than the local competition.
I would go ahead and pick up all you can from HD. Your going to need quite a few bags to get a DSB in your 125. For $7 a bag, your not going to find a better deal. I have been trying to get hooked up with LMAS too. They have been quite busy with the upcoming MACNA in 2003. Just keep e-mailing them, they'll eventually reply. Scott Z. |
